Therapy with PRP (platelet-rich plasma), also known as own-blood therapy or vampire facelift, is a natural and effective method for skin rejuvenation and hair strengthening.
Your own plasma is used to stimulate cell regeneration. This increases the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid, which in turn improves the skin. PRP can also promote hair growth by strengthening the hair roots and improving blood flow to the scalp.
PRP treatment for the face
On the face, PRP helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin elasticity and refine the complexion for an even, radiant look. It also supports wound healing and accelerates the skin's natural regeneration. At Innerform, we use PRP on the face to treat, among other things:

PRP treatment for the hair
Hair loss can have many causes. It may, for example, be hereditary, hormonal or caused by a nutrient deficiency. It often affects self-confidence. That is why we also offer scalp treatment with PRP at Innerform.
Here too, your own plasma activates the regenerative power of your own blood, stimulating hair growth, strengthening the hair roots and thickening thinning hair. At the same time, it improves the nutrient supply to the scalp, which leads to stronger, healthier hair. In some cases, the treatment can therefore even be considered as an alternative to, or at least a supportive measure alongside, a hair transplant.

Consultation & preparation
In the initial consultation, we take stock and work out together which therapy will help you reach your goal. We listen to your wishes, ask targeted questions, take a detailed medical history and examine the skin or scalp. We also advise on any more suitable or complementary methods that rejuvenate the skin and/or strengthen and thicken the hair.
Treatment
The treatment begins with a small blood sample. The plasma comes from the blood. The blood is then centrifuged to obtain the platelet-rich plasma. Meanwhile, a numbing cream is applied or a local anaesthetic is given. The PRP is then injected with fine needles into the previously disinfected area of the face or the scalp.
Aftercare & result
As the method is minimally invasive, there is generally no downtime. Slight redness may occur, but it usually subsides within a few hours.

For optimal results, a PRP course of 3–4 sessions at intervals of 4–6 weeks is recommended. After that, a top-up treatment every 6–12 months is sufficient.
With PRP for the skin, a fresher complexion is often visible after the first treatment. However, full collagen renewal takes 3–6 months. With PRP for hair, visibly denser and stronger hair appears after about 3 months.
The improvement in skin quality or hair growth can last for several months up to a year after PRP treatment. A healthy lifestyle and regular top-ups help to prolong the effect.
The blood draw and injections in PRP treatment are minimally invasive and cause only slight pain. A numbing cream can be applied on request.
Yes, PRP can slow the progression of androgenetic hair loss and strengthen hair growth. However, it does not work on completely dead hair follicles – in such cases a hair transplant is the much better option.
As PRP is obtained from your own blood, allergic reactions are ruled out. However, slight redness, swelling or bruises may occur. These subside quickly, though.
Yes, PRP can be combined ideally with laser treatments, other injections or a hair transplant to promote regeneration and cell growth.
People with acute skin infections, blood clotting disorders or autoimmune conditions should seek medical advice before PRP treatment.
Direct sunlight, saunas and sport should be avoided for 24–48 hours after PRP treatment. The treated skin should also be cared for gently and not irritated.
