What our patients say about us
What is the Preservé method?
Preservé is a significantly less invasive* breast augmentation procedure that uses state-of-the-art technology to shape the breast while preserving its structural anatomy, function, sensitivity, stability, and softness.
With its particularly tissue-sparing and tissue-preserving technique, the Preservé method sets new standards in aesthetic breast surgery.
* compared to traditional breast augmentation
What is most important to you when it comes to breast augmentation?
Smaller scars?
A quick recovery?
Preservation of breast anatomy and sensitivity?
With Preservé, all these goals can be achieved!
What is so special about Preservé?
Unlike traditional breast augmentation, the Preservé method does not involve cutting the tissue to prepare for the implant, but rather gently stretching it. This preserves the nerves, sensitivity, and structure to a large extent, and the breast still feels as natural as possible even after the procedure.
The minimally invasive procedure developed by Establishment Labs is combined with modern, high-quality implants from the Motiva® product line. This gives our patients harmonious, soft breasts with natural movement and stable implant positioning.

Biocompatible implants for greater stability, less risk, and natural movement
For a décolleté that moves harmoniously, feels natural, and suits your individual figure.
The SmoothSilk® Ergonomix2® implants from Motiva used in the Preservé method are based on a multi-layered, textured silicone shell with a biocompatible surface. The innovative, super-soft SilkSurface® texture ensures a biocompatible connection with the body, reducing the risk of unwanted reactions.
In addition, the TrueMonobloc+ structure makes the implant both flexible and resilient. The implants adapt to the body's natural movements and, thanks to the innovative ProgressiveGel Ultima® technology, change shape depending on their position. This means they appear round when lying down and naturally sloped when standing.
Modern Zen® RFID technology & BluSeal+®
The integrated Zen® RFID technology allows the implants to be identified without contact. This means that important product information can be read externally at any time without additional intervention.
Similarly, BluSeal+® serves as a visual safety marker that supports quality control of the implant system during implant manufacturing.

Next-generation breast augmentation: the particular strengths of the Preservé method
Maintaining breast stability
Gently stretching the tissue allows it to nestle around the implant, ensuring that it remains stable. This has also been confirmed by a clinical study, which found a 0% rate of internal malposition after three years.
Preserving the anatomy of the breast
The tissue-sparing surgical technique preserves the natural breast tissue and the patient's sensitivity, even over time.*¹
Preserve the natural breast
Thanks to the SmoothSilk® Ergonomix2® implants and the special instruments of the Preservé system, even small incisions are sufficient to achieve the desired result. This results in smaller scars and a lower risk of product-related complications. Likewise, the natural breast tissue is not damaged, enabling a quick and safe recovery.²
Peace of mind as a patient
The biocompatible Motiva SmoothSilk® surface, in combination with Preservé technology, aims to cause less damage to breast tissue and promote a low inflammatory response.³
It has also been clinically proven that no complications such as proliferative diseases (such as BIA-ALCL) have occurred to date.
Preservé warranty package for maximum safety
With its warranty package, Preservé also offers patients support in the rare event of a product-related complication or adverse event.⁴

About Innerform: Specialists in Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery
For us, the result of a treatment should not only look good, but also feel good and as natural as possible. This applies to the feel of the skin, but also to personal well-being. At Innerform, we therefore work with modern methods such as Preservé and exclusively use safe, high-quality implants (Mentor and Motiva).
Depending on your wishes and initial situation, we select the appropriate procedure, the ideal size and position, and the type of implant.
Of course, we also explain the risks and limitations of the various breast augmentation procedures and draw up an individual surgical plan, including aftercare services.
How the Preservé method works
1. Small access in the underbust fold
Access is gained via a fine incision of approx. 2.5 cm (in comparison: a scar from conventional breast augmentation is 4-6 cm long).
2. Preparation of the implant pocket
With the help of the Motiva® Channel Separator, a so-called access tunnel is then prepared ("tunnelled"). Unlike traditional breast augmentation, the chest muscle, chest ligaments, and surrounding tissue are not cut or lifted.
3. Gentle tissue stretching (
)
A special, disposable inflatable balloon expander (Motiva® Inflatable Balloon) is then used to gently and carefully stretch the tissue. This creates a precisely fitting "tissue nest" or stable tissue pocket for the implant, minimizing the risk of displacement.
4. Gentle insertion of the implant
The SmoothSilk® Ergonomix2® implant is then inserted using the Preservé method via sterile no-touch insertion with a special tool called the Motiva® Insertion Sleeve. This prevents direct skin contact and further reduces the risk of infection.
The implant is inserted minimally invasively above the muscle, so that no muscle is cut. Afterwards, only the incision is sutured.
Unlike the MIA procedure, which is also tissue-sparing, access is not gained via the armpit but in the inframammary fold. This means that significantly larger implants can also be used with the Preservé technique, with the patient's anatomy playing a decisive role.
After breast augmentation:
Aftercare with the Preservé method
After the procedure, the breast must be stabilized day and night for about two weeks with a compression bra. However, the recovery period itself often lasts only one to two days. In most cases, follow-up appointments show that patients are fully socially functional again after just three to five days. You can therefore continue your everyday life and work without any major problems.
When it comes to sports, you should follow the recommendations of your treating specialist. Healing is an individual process. However, light exercise is often possible after just two to four weeks. This is significantly faster than with conventional breast augmentation, as there is often less swelling and pain due to the lower strain on the tissue.
Cost of Preservé breast augmentation:
The standard price for the procedure is €8,500 and includes preparation, the procedure itself, and aftercare. Additional costs may apply on an individual basis if general anesthesia is requested, additional tightening is required, or further additional treatments are needed.
Includes:
- Surgical procedure performed by a certified plastic surgeon under local anesthesia
- High-quality premium implants: SmoothSilk Ergonomix2
- 1 standard and 1 lingerie compression girdle
- up to 8 follow-up examinations
- Preoperative 3D simulation + app for visualization at home
- Ultrasound examination and laboratory tests
- Follow-up cost insurance
- postoperative medication included
Note:
Since this procedure uses modern implants and special surgical instruments, the costs may be higher than for traditional breast augmentation.
The total cost also depends on your individual situation and whether further steps are advisable—for example, additional lifting. That is why we always provide individual advice and explain the costs for your specific case in a transparent manner in accordance with the GOÄ (German Medical Fee Schedule).

Breast augmentation with Preservé: What are the risks?
Who offers breast augmentation with Preservé in Germany?
Who is breast augmentation with Preservé suitable for?
For patients who desire a natural-looking, soft, and flexible breast while maximizing tissue preservation, stability, and structure.
Who is not suitable for breast augmentation with Preservé?
Preservé is not ideal if ...
- Very large implants are desired
(significantly > 450 cc / highly visible push-up effect). - very little native tissue + tight skin is present. Preservé requires a minimum amount of soft tissue coverage.
- There is pronounced breast sagging (ptosis), in which case a lift is usually necessary.
- maximum shape control rather than naturalness is the focus. Preservé is designed for naturalness, not "designer breasts."
Preservé also needs time to heal.
How stable is the result in the long term?
The tissue-preserving Preservé technique was developed specifically to ensure long-term stability of the implant's shape and position. The precisely fitting tissue nest or tissue pocket holds the implant in place so that it does not slip, even during movement, sports, or weight changes.
Are there any disadvantages to Preservé breast augmentation?
Preservé breast augmentation is very gentle on tissue, but this also has its disadvantages. Since less preparation and fixation is required than with more traditional techniques, control over the shape and position of the implant is more limited. The implant may sit slightly higher in the first few weeks and needs time to settle naturally.
In patients with very little natural tissue, the implant may be more palpable or visible than with more invasive methods that involve greater soft tissue coverage, particularly in the upper breast area. In addition, the result is more dependent on individual tissue quality and surgical skill, as there are fewer opportunities for correction during the operation.
Preservé is also not a flexibly scalable technology: if very precise, heavily modeled, or exceptionally large results are desired, the method quickly reaches its limits.
In short: Preservé trades maximum form control for protection, naturalness, and faster recovery—which is an advantage for many, but not ideal for every objective.
Breast augmentation with Preservé: What are the risks?
Surgery is never completely risk-free. However, in most cases, the side effects are only mild and temporary, such as redness, swelling, bruising, or a feeling of tightness in the breast. Real complications such as infections, secondary bleeding, or capsular contracture* are rare and can often be avoided with proper aftercare. An overview can be found in our guide "Possible risks of breast augmentation."
Who offers breast augmentation with Preservé in Germany?
Preservé is only performed by selected surgeons. The following practices, among others, offer the Preservé method:
- Innerform, Berlin
- AESTHETIC-EDER, Munich
- Aestheticum Tübingen
