Thread lift in Berlin with Silhouette Soft® starting at €650
Minimally invasive skin tightening with immediate and long-term effects
As we age, the skin naturally loses its firmness, including on the face. Wrinkles form, the cheeks appear slightly saggy, and the facial contours lose their definition. This often makes us look more tired than we actually feel. A minimally invasive thread lift is often a good option for tightening and restoring the skin’s contour.
At Innerform in Berlin, we offer Silhouette Soft® thread lifts. During the procedure, special absorbable threads are inserted under the skin to gently lift the tissue while stimulating the body’s natural collagen production.

What our patients say about us
Thread Lift in Berlin for a Firmer, More Youthful Face
A thread lift is a minimally invasive skin tightening procedure that provides both an immediate lifting effect and long-term skin improvement.
Depending on the desired effect, thread lifting can be used to
- to tighten the skin, for example, to reduce fine lines on the décolleté or
- to lift sagging areas of the face, such as slightly drooping cheeks or loose skin on the neck.
Unlike muscle-relaxing rejuvenation treatments such as Botox, this procedure tightens and partially lifts the skin to restore the natural contours of the face.
Compared to a surgical facelift, a thread lift is also much gentler, leaves no scars, carries a lower risk of inflammation, and allows you to return to your daily routine in a short time. The method has also been continuously refined in recent years to reduce risks and deliver even more impressive results. At Innerform in Berlin, we use Silhouette Soft®.
The Benefits of a Silhouette Soft® Thread Lift
- natural-looking result
- No surgery under general anesthesia & no incisions required
- short treatment duration
- immediate visible change
- short downtime
- Stimulation of the body's own collagen synthesis
- The lifting threads are completely broken down by the body
- long-lasting effect (approx. 1–1.5 years)
- can be combined with other cosmetic and aesthetic procedures
Treatment Areas: Which areas are suitable for thread lifts?
The treatment is suitable for various areas, including the face—particularly the cheeks, jawline, eyebrows, and neck—as well as the décolletage and areas of the body with mild skin sagging.
Other typical areas of treatment include:
- Double chin
- Nasolabial folds
- Marionette lines and drooping corners of the mouth
- fine lines around the eyes or upper lip
The various options available with a thread lift
A cheek lift—for example, as part of a midface slimming procedure—adds definition and volume to the central part of the face, while tightening the chin and jawline helps create a more defined facial contour.
Raising the eyebrows can also create a cat-eye or fox-eye look, which opens up the eyes and makes the eye area more expressive. In addition, thread lifting can reduce marionette lines and nasolabial folds, giving the face an overall fresher and more harmonious appearance.
How does a Silhouette Soft® thread lift work?
The Silhouette Soft® treatment uses special, absorbable threads with small cones.
These are inserted under the skin using fine needles to gently lift sagging areas. At the same time, the lactic acid threads stimulate the body’s own collagen production, which strengthens and firms the skin’s structure over the long term.
The materials used then dissolve on their own after a few months, while the newly formed collagen provides long-lasting firming.
The difference from other thread lift systems
In the Silhouette Soft® thread lift, the threads are made of polylactide-co-glycolide (PLGA) and the small cones are made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Both materials are biocompatible and are gradually and completely broken down by the body.
Some other thread lift systems also use polydioxanone (PDO) threads. These are also absorbable and stimulate collagen production, but they are better suited for skin tightening and improving skin texture than for a pronounced lifting effect.
Overview of the regenerative processes in the skin
- After 6–10 days: Repair processes in the skin are activated. It regenerates and stabilizes.
- A few days to 2–4 months: Local blood microcirculation improves, the metabolism of connective tissue cells (fibroblasts) is activated, and their number increases. The skin is now better nourished and can gradually become firmer.
- Within 2–6 months: The production of collagen, elastin fibers, and hyaluronic acid increases. This makes the skin more elastic, further firms it, and gives it an overall rejuvenated appearance.
The Thread Lift Procedure at Innerform in Berlin
1. Consultation & Preparation
The process begins with a detailed consultation during which we determine the optimal placement of the threads for each individual. During this consultation, we also review your medical history, examine your skin, discuss your expectations and the realistic results you can expect, and, if desired, advise you on possible combinations with other cosmetic and aesthetic treatments. In addition, our specialists will provide guidance on what you should keep in mind before the treatment.
Day 2 of treatment
The thread lift is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia and takes between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the treatment area.
After disinfecting the skin and applying a local anesthetic, the threads are carefully inserted under the skin into the subcutaneous fat tissue using a fine cannula and positioned to achieve the desired lifting effect. This is followed by precise sculpting to optimize the tightening and contouring.
Depending on the treatment goal, different techniques are used. The threads also vary. For example, there are fine, smooth, and slightly spiral threads.
3. Follow-up Care & Results
After the treatment, you may experience mild swelling or small bruises for a short time, which will subside within a few days. For best results, it is recommended that you avoid exaggerated facial expressions, facial treatments, saunas, swimming pools, and strenuous physical activity for the first few days. It may also be helpful to apply a cold compress to the treated areas.
The firming effect is visible immediately after the treatment and continues to improve over the following weeks as collagen production is stimulated. Depending on the material used and individual skin type, the results last 12 to 18 months.
Cost of a thread lift in Berlin
The cost of a thread lift varies from person to person, as each patient has a different facial anatomy and skin condition. It also depends, of course, on the desired results. In most cases, the price is therefore based on the number of threads used and, in some cases, the specific treatment area.
At some clinics and medical practices, additional costs may apply for materials, medications, or follow-up care. At Innerform in Berlin, however, our prices for Silhouette Soft® thread lifts already include all essential services.

Are the results of a thread lift visible immediately?
Yes, the lifting effect of a thread lift is visible immediately after the procedure. The skin’s texture continues to improve in the weeks that follow, as the threads stimulate collagen production.
How long do the results of a thread lift last?
The threads dissolve on their own within 6–12 months. However, the lifting effect may continue to improve for up to 18–24 months, as collagen production is stimulated over a longer period. A healthy lifestyle is crucial for the continued development of the skin and the final results.
Is the treatment painful?
The thread lift is performed under local anesthesia, so the procedure is largely painless. However, you may experience a slight feeling of tightness for a short time after the procedure.
Is there any downtime after the thread lift?
Most patients can return to their normal daily activities immediately after a thread lift. However, there may be some mild swelling, bruising, or temporary asymmetry, which will subside within a few days.
Can a thread lift be combined with other treatments?
Yes, a thread lift can be combined with hyaluronic acid fillers, wrinkle treatment, PRP, or laser treatment, for example, to further enhance the results.
Who is a suitable candidate for a thread lift?
The thread lift is particularly suitable for people with incipient skin laxity who want a gentle tightening without surgery. However, a surgical facelift may be the better option for severe excess tissue.
What are the possible side effects of a thread lift?
After a thread lift, mild swelling, redness, or small bruises may occur. However, these usually disappear within a few days. In rare cases, infection or visible thread marks may occur.
What should you keep in mind after a thread lift?
In the first few days after the thread lift, you should avoid making strong facial expressions, chewing hard foods, and applying pressure or friction to the treated areas. You should also refrain from exercise, saunas, and sunbathing for about a week.
